Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Welder Specialist LLC. Here’s our policy for returns, exchanges, and shipping:

Returns

At Welder Specialist, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of the delivery date. Please ensure that all returned items are in their original factory carton, including packaging materials, manuals, and accessories. Items must be in brand new, unused, and sellable condition for a refund to be processed. Returns without a Welder Specialist-issued Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number may be subject to a restocking fee or refusal at our discretion. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your return merchandise credit to be processed. Note that there is a 25% restocking fee for all returned items.

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange your purchase, please contact us to obtain an RMA number. Once you have the RMA number, return the new, unused item in its original packaging. Once we receive your exchange, we’ll send you a PayPal request to cover the shipping cost of the new item. After receiving payment, we’ll ship out the new item and provide you with a tracking number.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please call us immediately with your order number. Orders can be canceled as long as they have not yet shipped. Please note that there is a 3% cancellation fee. Orders that have already been shipped can be returned for a refund.

Shipping Policy

At Welder Specialist, we ship to the lower 48 states using USPS and UPS, depending on the weight and value of the order. Orders generally ship within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Shipping time is typically 3-5 business days from the date of order for all in-stock equipment. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations is also available, with shipping costs calculated at checkout.

Freight Shipments

For freight shipments, a signature for delivery is required, and the shipping address must be able to accept deliveries via semi-truck. Please note that you will be required to unload the item from the truck. Special handling or equipment may be necessary, such as a forklift or truck with a lift gate. Free shipping does not include lift gate service for LTL shipments. If you require lift gate service, please contact us to add the charges to your order.

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. For internal damage not reported at the time of delivery, please notify us within 14 days of receipt. Damage claims will be refused if the item has been used, is not in its original packaging, or if the damage is reported more than 14 days after receipt. For palletized deliveries that were not refused or signed for as damaged, the claims process may take up to 2 weeks.

Defective Machinery / Merchandise

If you discover a defect in your machinery or merchandise within 14 days of receipt, please contact us. You have two options: either take the defective machine to an authorized repair facility for warranty repair or ship the machine back to Welder Specialist in exchange for a new machine of the same model. Note that you must have a Welder Specialist-issued Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, and you are responsible for any freight charges back to us. Defects detected after 14 days must be repaired under the manufacturer’s factory warranty policy at an authorized repair facility.
