Shipping charges vary depending on the weight and destination of your order. For Standard Ground Residential and Commercial Shipping within the contiguous United States are free. FedEx or UPS Ground is used for orders weighing less than 150 lbs, while items over 150 lbs are shipped via common freight carrier. Additional charges may apply for US Mail, APO, P.O. Box, Air/Express, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico shipments. Please review our shipping policy for more details.
Welder Specialist provides shipping to addresses other than your credit card’s billing address, with additional identity verification requirements. This may include providing a faxed copy of your government-issued driver’s license and physical credit card. Orders shipping to alternate addresses are subject to hold pending verification, but we never request proof-of-identity via email. Please note that re-routing shipments or pick-up at carrier terminals is not permitted once orders are in transit. All deliveries must go to the originally specified address.

Orders can be prepaid without a credit card by contacting us directly to arrange payment via wire transfer, certified check, or U.S. Postal Service Money Order for the total order amount. Orders paid with a money order will be held for 3 business days upon receipt of payment.

Most orders typically arrive at your location within 3-7 business days through standard ground shipment, with email shipping and tracking details provided for online orders. For Air/Express orders, those placed before 1pm Eastern time on business days will be shipped the same day, while orders after 1pm ET will ship the following business day.
Please note that Saturday and Sunday are not considered business or shipping days. Express and Ground deliveries occur Monday-Friday, though arrangements for Saturday delivery can be made by contacting Welder Specialist.
Delays beyond the freight company’s control, such as weather or business closures, may affect delivery times and are exempt from Money-Back Guarantees.
At Welder Specialist, signatures are required only for full cylinders and shipments delivered by LTL or common carrier. All other packages will be left at the front door, subject to the delivery driver’s discretion. You can request a Signature Required Delivery by noting it in the “Comments” section of our order form or by contacting us by telephone before shipment. Lost, stolen, or undelivered packages follow the full carrier claims process, which may take up to 10 days.
For all packages, any freight damage must be refused, and Welder Specialist must be contacted immediately. With deliveries by common carrier (LTL freight), thorough inspection both outside and inside is required. Please inspect your machine carefully and refuse delivery if any damage is found.
Once a damaged machine delivered by common carrier (LTL) is signed for and accepted, Welder Specialist will not replace, issue credit, or accept returns. Acceptance of a freight/LTL delivery indicates full acceptance of the equipment’s condition upon receipt.
For packages delivered by UPS/FedEx (small package delivery, less than 80 lbs), any internal or concealed damage must be reported to Welder Specialist within 5 days of delivery. We will replace the equipment if it has not been used and is in its original packaging.
