Frequently Asked Questions

If your order arrives damaged, it’s important to act quickly. For freight shipments (LTL deliveries over 150 lbs), please inspect the exterior and interior of the shipment before signing. If you notice any damage to the machine or packaging, refuse the delivery and contact Welder Specialist immediately. Once a freight delivery has been signed for, it is considered accepted in its received condition, and we cannot offer replacements or refunds for damage reported afterward.

For smaller packages delivered by UPS or FedEx (under 80 lbs), any concealed damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery. We’ll gladly replace the item as long as it remains unused and in its original packaging. Your satisfaction and equipment integrity are our top priorities.

If there’s an issue with your order—whether it’s missing items, incorrect products, or any other concern—please notify Welder Specialist within 10 calendar days of delivery. The delivery date will be determined based on tracking information provided by the shipping carrier.

Unfortunately, we are unable to address or resolve any order-related issues reported after the 10-day window, so please inspect your order promptly upon arrival. We're here to help ensure everything is right!

At Welder Specialist, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Most items are returnable within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in brand new, unused condition and include the original packaging, manuals, and accessories. To initiate a return, you must request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from our team. Items returned without an RGA or in unsellable condition may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

Please do not write on or tape anything to the product or its factory packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend using a traceable shipping method. Once your return is received and inspected, please allow 2–3 weeks for your credit to be processed.

Note: Due to safety and hygiene regulations, respirators, full cylinders, and opened boxes of filler metals cannot be returned. Additionally, all international sales are final and cannot be returned once shipped outside the United States.

Welder Specialist offers free standard ground shipping on all orders over $99.00 shipped within the contiguous United States. Orders under $99 will incur a flat shipping fee of $10.99. Standard shipments under 150 lbs are delivered via FedEx or UPS Ground, while larger items over 150 lbs are shipped using a freight carrier to ensure safe delivery.

U.S. Mail, APO & P.O. Box Shipments: Orders requiring delivery via U.S. Mail do not qualify for free shipping, and charges are not calculated in real-time during checkout. If you provide only a P.O. Box or APO address, additional freight charges will be quoted separately. Your order will not ship until we receive your approval or a deliverable physical address. If your order cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box due to size or weight restrictions, we’ll contact you with alternative shipping options.

Air/Express Shipping: Next Day, Second Day, and Three-Day Air services are available for orders under 150 lbs and are calculated at checkout. For orders over 150 lbs, air shipping is not available and charges will be quoted separately via phone or email. Please note that certain items—like batteries, magnets, and full gas cylinders—cannot be shipped by air.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii: All shipments under 150 lbs to Alaska or Hawaii must be sent using Next Day, Second Day Air, or Three-Day Select services. Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout.

Puerto Rico Orders: Orders shipping to Puerto Rico are treated as international orders and may be subject to additional terms and charges. Please refer to our international order policy for more details.
